Audi Regular Maintenance in Espoo

Regular maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines is the best way to ensure the safety, reliability, and long service life of your Audi. Volkkarihuolto in Espoo offers high-quality regular maintenance for all Audi models, always following the manufacturer's service program.

What is Regular Maintenance?

Regular maintenance is a service defined by the car manufacturer, performed after a certain mileage or time interval – usually every 15,000-30,000 km or once every 1-2 years. Regular maintenance is more extensive than annual service and includes more service procedures that help prevent serious damage and maintain the good working condition of the car.

At Volkkarihuolto, regular maintenance is always carried out according to the vehicle manufacturer's service program, which also means that the warranty on a new car remains valid after service.

What Does Regular Maintenance Include?

The content of Audi regular maintenance may vary by model, but typically includes:

  • Engine oil and oil filter replacement
  • Cabin air filter replacement
  • Air filter replacement
  • Brake fluid check and replacement if necessary
  • Fuel filter replacement
  • Spark plug check or replacement (for gasoline models)
  • Transmission fluid replacement (if necessary)
  • Battery system check
  • Headlight, washer, and wiper function check
  • Tire pressure and tread check
  • Coolant frost resistance check
  • Hinge lubrication and parking brake check
  • Suspension and steering component inspection
  • Test drive if necessary

The service content is always determined by the age of your Audi, mileage, and previous services. Finland's demanding weather conditions – such as road salting and large temperature variations – are also taken into account in our service program.

When Should Regular Maintenance Be Performed?

The interval for Audi regular maintenance depends on the model and engine version, but most often it is performed every 15,000-30,000 km or once every two years – depending on which comes first. If you drive less, consider annual service between regular maintenance intervals.

Delaying regular maintenance can result in warranty invalidation if your car is still under warranty. Additionally, long-neglected maintenance can cause hidden faults and expensive repairs in the future.

Regular Maintenance Cost

The cost of service depends on your Audi model, engine type, and service content. At Volkkarihuolto, you always get a transparent and clear cost estimate before work begins. We do not charge hidden fees – you only pay for what is actually done to your car.

Along with maintenance, we can also perform other necessary repairs, such as brake, suspension, light, or air conditioning service – always at an affordable price and with high quality.

Regular Maintenance, Annual Service, or Seasonal Service?

Regular maintenance is performed according to the service program defined by the manufacturer. It is essential especially if your car is still under warranty.

Annual service is particularly suitable for low-mileage or older cars. It includes a general overview of the car's condition, as well as oil and filter changes. Read more about annual service

Seasonal service is a lighter inspection service that can be done, for example, when changing tires. Items checked include coolant, battery, and washer fluids.

If you are not sure which service is appropriate for your Audi, we will be happy to help you.

Audi S5 Cabriolet 2011 Convertible Roof System Repair

Audi S5 CabrioletConvertible roof system repair29.06.2026

The customer brought us a 2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet with a fault in the convertible roof system. A sensor in the roof system had failed, causing the roof to lift and get stuck in the wrong position, while the mechanism could no longer complete the opening or closing cycle correctly. This type of fault requires careful diagnostics, because several sensors, limit switches and control units work together in a convertible roof mechanism. We checked fault codes, roof position recognition and the movement of the mechanism so the roof could be safely released from the incorrect position without causing additional damage. We performed the following procedures: - Convertible roof system diagnostics with a tester - Faulty sensor location - Releasing the roof mechanism from the incorrect position - Sensor and wiring inspection - System testing through several opening and closing cycles After the repair, the convertible roof works correctly again: the roof opens and closes normally, and no active fault codes remained in the system. The vehicle was returned to the customer with a working and safely tested roof mechanism.

Volkswagen Passat 1.4 GTE HybridTurbo replacement

The customer brought us a 2016 Volkswagen Passat 1.4 GTE Hybrid after symptoms pointing to an oil leak started to appear in the engine operation. During diagnostics, we found that the turbo shaft seal was damaged and the turbo had started leaking oil into the intake manifold. This kind of fault should be repaired in time, because oil entering the intake side can cause rough running, smoke, and in the worst case further engine damage. We removed the necessary components, inspected the intake system, and replaced the damaged turbo with a new unit. After the repair, we checked the system for leaks, verified oil tightness, and tested engine operation. The car was returned to the customer in good working condition, with the risk caused by the turbo oil leak eliminated.
