Volkswagen Crafter Clutch Service
A customer came to us with a Volkswagen Crafter complaining about suspension knocking, vibration while driving, and unstable clutch operation. The vehicle had already covered many kilometers, and it was time for a thorough service.
Diagnostics We lifted the vehicle and began the inspection. We found the following issues:
- Worn dual-mass flywheel and clutch, causing jerking and slipping during gear changes. - Damaged driveshaft joints, explaining the vibration during driving. - Worn rear shock absorbers that were no longer functioning properly, making the rear end unstable.
Repair Procedures After discussing with the customer, we began the repair work:
- Removed the transmission, replaced the flywheel and clutch. Now gears shift smoothly and the vehicle accelerates without jerking. - Disassembled the driveshaft and replaced worn joints – vibration completely disappeared. - Installed new rear shock absorbers, significantly improving the vehicle's handling.
Final Result After the repair, we conducted a test drive: the vehicle now operates stably without any extra noises or vibrations. The customer was satisfied with the work done and left confident in their vehicle's condition.
